via Family Holiday

The Jewish holiday Hanukkah, which is often referred to as the Festival of Lights, is a beautiful eight-day celebration beginning on the 25th day of the Hebrew month of Kislev, which may occur from late November to late December.

Traditionally the classic colors of blue and white are typically associated with this celebration. Blue symbolizing the color of heaven and the divine revelation, and white symbolizing purity and cleanliness,  part of the Sabbath.

There’s a very brief article to give you a bit more information on  the History of Hanukkah, which you may find interesting.

And below are some inspirations to help you celebrate and prepare for this joyous season. Enjoy your cruise, we hope you find that “something” to make your holiday just a little bit brighter.
