This  Cheesy Garlic Herb Crack Bread is always a hit no matter when you serve it, brunch, appetizer or dinner, even as a side to a hearty soup or stew along with a salad … good grief stop my mouth is watering…what time is dinner? I’ll be right over.

I like to make this when I know we’re having a crowd in, but also as a treat just for my kids, because they absolutely love it.   !

1 crusty sourdough or artisan loaf
4 ounces (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, minced
2 teaspoons fresh thyme, minced
3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
