These Ultimate Dinner Rolls are not just for Holidays. They make the perfect compliment to any meal. But at least once a month I bake them for a delicious appetizer.
In a cruet, I put olive oil, fresh chopped basil, diced up garlic (from a jar) oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, and anything interesting in my pantry. Shake the ingredients up good, pour on a plate, and gobble up all that goodness with the Ultimate Dinner Rolls, fresh out of the oven. ! I promise you, they’ll be a hit !!!!!
1/4 cup lukewarm water
1 cup warm milk (100 – 110°F)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and divided
2 whole eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons fine salt
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) instant yeast
4 1/2 cups (20 ounces) bread flour
