My Favorite Pecan Pie


My favorite Pecan Pie…growing up pecan pie was a Christmas tradition. That pecan crunch, and rich filling would make my eyes roll, just soooo good. The next day, straight out of the fridge, with fork in hand,  taste a nice chunk of this pie and you’ll find the flavors just seem to get even better.

This just might become a tradition in your home as well.    Enjoy  !!



  • Homemade Pie Crust
    My Favorite Pecan Pie via Sally’s Baking Addiction

    (makes 2 crusts *)

  • 2 and 1/2 cups  coarsely chopped Diamond of California pecans
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup  dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup  packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup  unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

*you can halve the crust recipe or freeze half the crust.
