No-Knead Crusty Artisan Bread

OH,  the smell of this bread baking is too much and you can’t even believe how great this tastes.

Here’s a few samples of how we serve this bread at our house:

  • For dipping we use butter or olive oil with fresh basil, or whatever herbs I have handy.
  • Other times, we’ll slice it up and top with sliced or diced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese , pop it under the broiler till the cheese melts and serve as an appetizer.

Oh, almost forget, pop it in the toaster and serve with Sunday morning breakfast, what a treat.

3 cups all purpose flour

2 teaspoons kosher salt (not table salt)

1/2 teaspoon dry yeast (active dry or highly active dry work best)

1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
