Homemade Bread Bowls


These bread bowls are great for soups, stew or chowders.  How comforting is a hot bowl of your favorite comfort food in your comfort food.

Bread Bowls via Taste of Home


4 1/2 teaspoons (2 packets) instant yeast
2 1/2 cups warm water (110°F)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
4 cups (18 ounces or 510 grams) bread flour
3 cups (13.5 ounces or 383 grams) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons fine salt
1 egg white
