This is our own special concoction of bean dip, we call it BOKA Bean Dip (for Bobby & Karen), my husband and I have made this so many times over the years, and we still get asked to bring it whenever we get together with our family and friends.
Many restaurants serve bean dip as an appetizer while your meal is being prepared. But this one tops all others. Prep time only takes around 10 minutes to put together. I usually serve this with Pepperidge Farm wheat crackers as they go so well together. Be forewarned, if you bring these to a party, you will own it, because you’ll be frequently asked to bring this BOKA Bean Dip to all your gatherings too. Enjoy !!
2 cups canned kidney beans, drained
1 small onion, minced
1/2 cup mayo
3/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp white horseradish
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Rinse the kidney beans and set aside to drain.
In a medium sized bowl stir together all remaining ingredients and mix well.
Gently mix the kidney beans in until completely coated.
Refrigerate till serving time.
