Raspberry Swirl Sweet Rolls


How sweet it is …. to wake up to these delicious Raspberry Swirl Sweet Rolls.  There’s something special about the aroma of homemade goodies drifting through the air on a cold winter morning…it’s enough to make you want to get out of bed.  These incredible delights are so tender and fluffy and will definitely put a smile on your face, it’s just a wonderful way to start the day, so enjoy !

You can let the rolls rise overnight and bake in the morning




Cook time:  25  min.         Makes 12 Rolls

  • 1 cup  milk
  • 2/3 cup  granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast (2 standard size packets)
  • 1/2 cup  unsalted butter, softened to room temperature and cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting/rolling


  • One 10-oz. package frozen raspberries (NOT thawed)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons (80g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch


  • 1 cup  confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons heavy cream (or half-and-half or milk)
