Iced Raspberry Danish Braids


Iced Raspberry Danish Braids, flaky buttery layers filled with raspberry goodness, such a delicious treat for any breakfast or brunch. If you’re not familiar with making Danish pastry you’ll need to¬†understand that there are some requirements for certain ingredients,¬†so be sure to read through the directions before getting started.


Prep Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
Total Time: at least 6 hours, (includes chilling time)
Yield: 2 braids, 4-6 servings each

Raspberry Filling

  • 2 and 1/2 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon warm water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons heavy cream (or milk)
