These Sausage Pinwheels are great mess free appetizers, no gooey or sticky fingers this time around, except when dipping in a honey mustard sauce. And did I mention they’re also super easy to make. Just a thought, it might be a good idea to double the recipe, these truly are melt in your mouth goodness.

1 lb sausage or English bangers, skin removed and crumbled
1/2 large onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh sage
3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
One 17.3-ounce package Puff Pastry (2 sheets), thawed
1 large egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water
salt and pepper
chopped green onions or chives for garnish, optional
