Baked Ham with Apple Cider Maple Glaze


A deliciously  caramelized Baked Ham with Apple Cider Maple Glaze makes a beautiful main course for a Sunday dinner or a special holiday.  The kicker is, it’s such an easy and impressive meal.  When finished cooking , just brush the ham with the glaze, then spoon the juices from the bottom of the pan, over the ham. Your now ready for a moist and flavorful  meal…voila !!!

  • 1  8-11 pounds bone-in smoked spiral-sliced ham
  • Aluminum foil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed

Apple Cider Glaze

  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup…not imitation
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp.  EACH ground nutmeg, ground cloves, dried thyme, pepper, chili powder
