Party Crab Puffs


These tasty little mouthful of Party Crab Puffs are always a big hit. I like to make the filling the day before so the flavors get a chance to blend in, and the little puffs can be made ahead as well…just don’t fill them until they’re ready to be served (or they will get soggy). The day of the big event just plop the filling in and voila’, you’re ready to go. I personally like my puffs with a little more kick, so I often add garlic powder and sprinkle in some lemon zest.

Be creative, these little Puffs can be filled with chicken, turkey, tuna salad, and whatever else you can imagination. It’s a nice way to serve up some appetizers.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs


  • 4 hard-cooked large eggs, finely chopped
  • 1 can (6 ounces) lump crabmeat, drained
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, drained
  • Minced fresh parsley, optional

Additional Options: Paprika, chopped chives, garlic powder, lemon zest, diced mushrooms
