Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

A great bread to serve all by itself or as a side, breakfast or dinner, it’s well worth it.

    • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/8 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. lemon zest (from about 3 lemons)
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
    • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. sour cream
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Lemon Glaze
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
