Slow Cooker Meatball Stroganoff


An easy home made meal, Slow Cooker Meatball Stroganoff cooked in a creamy sour cream mushroom sauce, served over a bed of egg noodles or penne pasta, and a delicious side of steamed broccoli.  Voila’ …there you have it, a delicious meal that looks like you slaved all day.

If you’re really pressed for time use store-bought frozen meatballs.  If you make your own, make extra so you can freeze them for later.

  •  1 lb. (approximate) frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (10.75 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz. whole button mushrooms
  • 1 can (10.75 oz.) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ cup sour cream

Meatball Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs. lean ground beef
  • 3 slices white bread
  • water
  • 2 tbs. instant minced onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbs. au jus gravy mix
  • 2 eggs
  • Olive oil for browning
  • 1 tsp water
